Rules and Conditions
1. Drivers:
The renter and any additional drivers must be at least 25 years old and have held a valid Class B driving license for at least two years. The motorhome may only be picked up by the renter. Identification documents for both the renter and any additional drivers must be presented at the start of the rental period.
2. The lease agreement:
The rental period extends from 9:00 AM on the day of departure until the return time on the day of arrival, depending on the season*. Late returns may result in an additional day being charged, although the company may offer flexibility in drop-off and pick-up times, subject to availability. Unauthorized daily drop-offs or those not due to force majeure will be penalized with a daily rate three times the amount stipulated in the contract.
Collection and delivery hours:
The motorhome pick-up time is from 9:00 to 17:00 on the day the booking starts.
The return window is open until 5:00 PM on the day the reservation ends.
– Possibility of contracting Extra Delivery/Return Hours (to be contracted in your booking request, subject to availability and whose cost will be added to the rental amount)
3. Payments and deposit:
50% of the rental amount will be paid upon signing the booking agreement, and the remaining 50% within 15 days prior to the vehicle pick-up date. The €600 security deposit will be paid on the day of delivery (via a hold on a debit or credit card) and will be refunded once everything has been verified to be in perfect condition. The lessor will have 48 hours from the time the lessee returns the motorhome to properly verify the condition. If it is not possible to assess any damage immediately, the lessor will have 30 days to issue a refund. In the event of any breakage or damage due to misuse, the lessor will determine the amount to be deducted from the security deposit.
4.Cancellation:
In the event that the renter cancels the reservation, the following penalties will apply:
* If you cancel 30 days before the start of your rental, you will receive a 100% refund of your deposit.
* Less than 30 days after the start of the rental period, you will pay 100% of the total rental price.
5. Insurance:
Comprehensive insurance with a €900 deductible per claim. In case of disagreement, both parties accept the insurance company's expert's decision. The renter accepts the additional charge of the insurance deductible in the event of a claim, or deductibles if there are multiple claims. If the claim is caused by a third party, the deductible will be refunded upon the other party's insurance company accepting liability, and after both parties complete and sign the joint accident report. Any claim that occurs must be reported to the lessor within 24 hours; otherwise, the renter will be subject to the insurance company's decision and will be liable for any damages the lessor may incur as a result of the vehicle's repair or impoundment. The renter will be solely responsible for any civil liabilities arising from events or circumstances not covered by the policy. The insurance does not cover misuse or vandalism. As permitted by law, the lessor will not be liable for any damages or losses suffered by the lessee or third parties as a result of the use and operation of the vehicle, nor for the loss or theft of belongings left inside the vehicle. The lessee will be responsible for payment in the event of breakage, fire, or theft of accessories or extras.
6. Cleaning:
The rented vehicle must be returned in good hygienic condition with the toilet and wastewater tanks properly emptied. Otherwise, the user agrees to pay a fixed fee of €100 for each applicable item (cleaning €100 / wastewater emptying €100 / removal of pet hair or tobacco odors/remnants €100). Filling the drinking water tank with fuel will incur a penalty of €600.
7. Fines and penalties:
The vehicle is intended for normal use and may not carry more passengers than permitted. The lessee is expressly prohibited from using it for competitions or races, transporting goods, pushing or towing any vehicle or object, lending it to third parties, assisting criminals, driving the vehicle off-road, or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The lessee is obligated to obey all traffic laws. The lessee is responsible for any penalty or fine imposed for violating these regulations.
responsibility in the event that the vehicle is detained or seized due to their fault, bearing all costs
The expenses and losses of the lessor company, including the loss of business profits during the time that the immobilization lasted.
8.Use and Damage:
The renter must take care of the rented equipment, carefully reading the instructions or user manuals provided, and is responsible for any damage resulting from improper, negligent, or reckless driving. In case of breakage, damage, or any sign of malfunction, the renter must notify the lessor immediately. Failure to notify may prevent timely delivery to the next renter, and the lessor may charge the equivalent of one day's rental. The renter must keep the vehicle keys in their possession. The renter is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is always locked. All vehicle windows (except the cab) and skylights must remain closed while driving. Insurance does not cover negligence.
9. Maintenance:
The vehicle is delivered with a completed engine service. When the duration of the journey warrants it, the renter will carry out any necessary maintenance at the lessor's expense, who will reimburse the cost. The renter must return the fuel tank full upon return, in the same condition as when it was picked up. Otherwise, the difference will be charged plus a €10 service fee for refueling. Maintenance costs, oil changes, and other related expenses are the responsibility of the lessor. The renter is responsible for checking the water and oil levels and tire pressure every 1,000 km. The vehicle is delivered with tires in perfect condition. In the event of a puncture or tire failure during the rental period, the renter will be responsible for the cost, without any possibility of claiming reimbursement from the lessor.
10. Delivery, returns and unused periods:
The delivery and return of the vehicle will take place at the Go Caravan Canarias facilities on days and times open to the public, in principle and always subject to the availability of the center.
Pick-up and drop-off at Tenerife Airport, Port, or Bus Station will be subject to availability at the rental center and will incur a charge of between €20 and €70 depending on the pick-up location.
The motorhomes are delivered in perfect working order; therefore, any damage or malfunction of the vehicle during the rental period will not entitle you to any compensation. In the event of any unforeseen accident that prevents you from continuing your vacation, the contract will be terminated immediately, and there will be no refund of the amount paid or for the remaining rental days. If, for reasons beyond the lessor's control, such as breakdown, accidents, or similar events or force majeure, the motorhome cannot be delivered on the agreed date, the lessee will forfeit the deposit paid to the lessor, and will not be entitled to any compensation. Any unused rental period will not be refunded. Due to continuous vehicle renewal, we reserve the right to substitute the rented vehicle with another of the same, higher, or newer category up to the day of delivery.
11.Jurisdiction:
For the resolution of any differences arising from the interpretation or application of the conditions contained in this document, both parties submit to the jurisdiction and competence of the courts of the Autonomous Community in which they are located, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction.
